When I press F5 to run it, it shows as a 100 loading circle in firefox and never actually shows my app. FYI, the plugin is set on 'Always activate' in about:addons and disabling AdBlock did not help. It is the standard 'Silverlight Website' project from Blend 3, without any modifications. In Firefox: the official 'Get Silverlight' page tells me the plugin is installed ('Silverlight 5 (4.0)'), however the test page linked above renders black.

So why not downgrade to the version you love.

So, support for things like Silverlight and whatever that Java plugin is called is now no longer available. provides free software downloads for old versions of programs, drivers and games. Mozilla, with their most recent update, have killed support for NPAPI plugins, with the exception of Adobe Flash Player.
